Gunvir Kaur

Hi, I am Gunvir Kaur from India (Punjab). I completed my Master’s of Physics and Bachelor of Education in India. I was brought up by my parents with my 2 siblings in a joined family. My grandparents taught me a lot of principles and values.

I started tutoring children while I was pursuing my Master’s. At that time, I discovered that no career can give me as much fulfilment as teaching. After that, I decided to join Bachelor of Education and opted this profession. Teaching for me doesn’t only limit to books and school curriculums, it’s more about learning important life skills which helps you to become a successful person. My maternal grandma was teacher for 32 years and she influenced me a lot towards this career.

About four years ago, my husband and I travelled to Australia. Both of us are working full-time and like spending our weekends going for walks on the beach/parks, and hanging out with friends. I begin each day with prayer to God and meditation, which keeps me positive and upbeat about my work.

1st Impressions ELC is like my second home where I am spending most of my time. I started working here in 2020 and have gained a lot of professional knowledge. I really wish that I can serve long term for 1st Impressions ELC!
