Position: Child Care Centre Manager – 1st Impressions Early Learning Centre (Full-time employment)

Location: Nailsworth, Adelaide, SA

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 + Super

The Centre
Situated in the Nailsworth, 1st Impressions Early Learning Centre is just 6
km from the city center. The centre offers child care and early learning service to
accommodate 86 children at a time aged birth to 5 years old.

Job Responsibilities:
As a Centre Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of the Centre,
encompassing staff management, budget oversight, and effective
communication with families, employees & internal stakeholders.
As a Centre Manager, you will ensure a smooth and safe child & family
experience and nurture a positive and inclusive culture that encourages
collaboration. Develop and implement programs to enhance the physical,
social, emotional and intellectual development of young children. Facilitate
compliance with relevant government requirements and standards. Direct and
supervise educators providing care and supervision for young children. Recruit
staff and coordinate professional development.

About you:

  • Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Must have a minimum 2 years of previous Child Care Centre Manager experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of National Regulations, National Quality Standards, and National Laws
  • Must be well-versed in the EYLF and MTOP
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Lead, inspire and motivate a team of educators
  • Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high-quality care
  • Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, CPR certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, Current Child Protection Training
