SAPOL Band Visit
In July, our centre had the pleasure of hosting the SAPOL band for a lively morning filled with music! Children from across the centre came together to enjoy and engage with their favourite tunes. This event was not only a fun experience but also a wonderful way to introduce community helpers to the children, helping to create a positive and safe image of authority figures. The children were thrilled to see and learn about various musical instruments, making it an enriching educational experience.
Road Safety Awareness
We were also delighted to have Policeman Nicholas visit our centre to teach our 1st Impressions children about road safety. The children demonstrated their excellent listening skills as they learned important guidelines on how to stay safe on the road. This visit was an invaluable opportunity to reinforce the importance of safety in a way that resonated with the young learners.
Celebrating Dental Health Week
As part of our celebration of Dental Health Week, we welcomed Dr. Sara, a friendly dentist who visited to teach the children about the importance of daily dental hygiene. The highlight of the visit was when the children got a chance to brush our lion friend’s teeth, learning hands-on about the importance of brushing and caring for their teeth.
More Excursions and Incursions Ahead!
We have an exciting lineup of more incursions and excursions planned for the upcoming terms. Our 1st Impressions children are in for more fun and educational experiences that will continue to inspire and engage them in meaningful ways!
