Our Pre-Reception children enjoyed a beautiful sunny morning outdoors during their excursion to Prospect Gardens Park. With warm weather and plenty of open space, it was the perfect opportunity for the children to explore, play, and enjoy nature together.
☀️ A Morning Full of Energy
From the moment they arrived, the children were full of excitement—laughing, running, and even rolling down the hill with their friends. They shared morning tea together at the picnic tables, chatting and bonding while enjoying the fresh air.
🛝 Playground Adventures
The children then moved on to explore the playground, where they:
- took turns on the slides
- climbed the rope structures
- balanced and shared the seesaw
- practiced cooperation and problem-solving
The photos (page 1) beautifully capture their confidence and joy as they climbed higher, encouraged friends, and navigated different equipment safely.
❤️ Learning Through Outdoor Play
Excursions like this support children’s development in many ways, including:
- gross motor skills
- social interaction and teamwork
- spatial awareness
- resilience and risk-taking in a supervised environment
Most importantly, the children had fun—laughing, helping one another, and creating shared memories with friends.
