Plodder Room

For children aged 2 to 3 years old.

Toddlers’ brain and cognitive abilities develop rapidly. Around the age of two, they begin to form a strong sense of self and make efforts to show their existence to the outside world. However, many times, due to the lack of correct expressions, children feel frustrated, causing them to have mood swings and behaviour challenges. The Educators at 1st Impressions are dedicated to helping children develop appropriate emotional expressions, show kindness to others, and have empathy and compassion.

Plodder Room Program:

To support children’s holistic development, we place special emphasis on the introduction of Orff Music and Montessori Mathematics in the Plodder Room (2–3 years old) setting.

The Orff Music Program provides children with a rich and varied musical experience. Through the Orff music session, children can experience the beauty of music through singing, dancing, percussion instruments, etc., and develop a sense of rhythm and musical expression. This interactive way of learning music not only stimulates children’s interest but also promotes the development of their auditory perception and coordination skills. For children at this stage, Orff’s music provides them with an ideal way to express their emotions and also gives them full confidence in their learning abilities.

The Montessori Math Program The Montessori math program is one of the most effective ways to make children familiar with the concept of logic. This is quite popular among young children. With the help of Montessori mathematics teaching aids and games, professional teachers concretize and visualize abstract concepts, guide children to think better about problems, and gradually develop their logical thinking abilities.
