On March 17, our centre was thrilled to welcome a team from the SA Metropolitan Fire Service. This exciting incursion gave our Pre-Kindy and Pre-Reception children a chance to step into the world of firefighters and fire safety.
Children had the opportunity to:
- Explore a real fire truck up close
- Hold the fire hose like real firefighters
- Crawl under simulated smoke
- Learn about emergency response and calling 000
These hands-on experiences helped reinforce vital safety concepts and fostered a deep appreciation for the bravery and dedication of our community helpers.
